Nightlife - When it comes to the nightlife
in Boston , well for years it was slow. There had
been many complaints that there wasn't enough to do
during the late evening hours. Over the past few years
the nightlife has really grown and expanded. If you
are looking for a great place to grab a meal, maybe
just get some drinks or hit the clubs for some dancing,
then there is something for you in Boston.
When it comes to finding something to eat, Boston
has a large choice of international restaurants. You
can find something simple that offers sandwiches and
soups or have large expensive meals in fancy restaurants.
It all depends on what you are in the mood for. It
is a good idea to ask at your hotel if they can make
any suggestions. These are people who live and know
the city and they may be able to get you a discount
or at least a great place for a meal. If you are looking

at the Top of the Hub restaurant.
You will enjoy your meal on the 52 nd floor of the
Prudential Center Tower, and overlook the city. They
open daily at 11:30 for lunch and dinner.
The pubs of Boston vary. There tends to be a lot
of Irish bars and they aren't hard to find. You can
located a sport bar easily in the city too. The Cask
N' Flagon bar is located near Fenway Park
and is a hot spot before and after the games. During
the baseball season you will find lines but if you
are a big sport fan and looking for a beer and a meal,
then take the time to stand there.
The Lizard Lounge is a basement
club located in Cambridge. They have a more close
nit feel to the bar. At times you can hear jazz, blues,
and live acts. The club has couches set up around
and gives you the coffee house feeling. They are open
daily from 9pm to 2am . The Axis Nightclub
is more of the dance club type of place. They have
visiting DJ's and the cover charge can change depending
on who is preforming. The music has a deep techno
feel to it. The great large dance floor and music
brings in all sorts. There are students, people visiting
Boston and the locals at this hopping joint. At times
they may even have a live band. If you want a break
from the dancing, there is a bar and sitting area
for relaxing.
If you take the time to walk around, you may be
able to find the perfect pub or dance club for yourself.

There might be a new club opening or first drink free
night going on somewhere in the city, and they can
point in the right direction.
