Boston MuseumsBoston Museums - Boston has a large selection for the museum lovers. Most the locations are open year around, daily except for major holidays. You are bound to find some kind of museum for every member of your family. There are history museums, such as the USS. Constitution Museum, Paul Revere's house and there is the Museum of Science , and for the art lovers there is the Museum of Fine arts. It would take you months to be able to visit all the museums in this city.

For the history lover the USS Constitution Museum or Paul Revere's home museum offer you a look into America's past. These museums have done their best to capture the time period and pass on the events to the younger generations. The entire city of Boston is historic site and the local museums have done their best to preserve this.

For the children, there is of course the Children's Museum and the Museum of Science. These both offer interactive exhibits and just a fun place to spend the afternoon. Learn about the human body, or the Big Dig construction that is being done in Boston at the Science Museum. Even though these museums have been geared towards the children, they are still an enjoyment to visit for the adults you group.

For the beer lover go to the Beer Museum. Here you learn about how the Sam Adams has been making beer. The brewing and fermentation techniques are shown to the tour takers. You can learn more about what goes into a beer and what gives you the flavors.

The art lover in your group will enjoy the Museum of the Arts. They display many different types of art work in throughout the museum. You can view art deco, or other popular works. While the majority of the artwork stays the same, they do have new exhibits for viewing. Besides the artwork you can catch a concert, or take an art studio class. They are open daily except all major holidays. Always a good idea to call ahead to make sure the museum is open.

While you find yourself in Boston, take the time to explore some of their museums. They are sure to have one to you or your groups liking. Some hotels may offer a discount to the local museums, so it is always a good idea to ask the front desk.
